Money, Culture and Change

2016
This year-long project explored how youth-led CSOs engage with the shrinking availability of funding for civil society. Over the course of 10 months, we engaged ten leaders of grassroots, youth-led CSOs in Medellin, Colombia. We guided them in a process of self-reflection (first-person inquiry), and collective analysis, and exploration of their organisational cultures and practices (second person inquiry). The findings from this participatory action research process contributed to a deeper understanding of the world-views of the leaders of youth-led CSOs in Medellin. This project was led by Recrear’s Director of Research, Gioel Gioacchino, as part of her doctoral studies.
