Hello Readers,
Allow me to introduce myself, I am Ashley Dara Dotz. First time blogger, long time participant of Recrear. At least it feels that way sometimes. It’s hard to believe that Recrear.beta was only three weeks in length, let alone that is over already. Since August 3rd so many things have happened; amazing workshops, fabulous connections, a lifetime of learning, and lifelong friendships have been solidified. Some moments seemed to have moved as molasses whilst working away in the wee hours of the night and others flown by as lightning, such as the whole three weeks we all lived, learned, and laughed together.
Now as Recrear.beta has come to a close Recrear begins! As Suhani had mentioned we have all broken into separate departments. Kevin and myself are on the branding team. Which means that as of late we have been working on developing our look, cementing our logo, and establishing what “Recrear” truly is. We have also been blessed with the aid and support of Sarah Wedell from Wedell Design. She has spent numerous hours helping us flush out and create a symbol of that which it means to be Recrear. I must admit, I had my concerns at first about whether the Recrear.beta team would like it- as you know Recrear.beta is composed of a variety of ages, nationalities, and impressive personalities. As luck would have it, all approved!
So I present to you our new logo.
